CHSE HIPAA Certification Test, Practice Exam and CE Credits

CHSE, Certified HIPAA Security Expert is a professionally certified training course that deals basically with the “Security” aspects of the HIPAA compliance training. This course is for individuals or organizations related to the US Healthcare industry who are already aware of HIPAA compliance and want to gain further knowledge of the HIPAA security rules and regulations at an expert level. This is an updated version of the course that also includes the changes made during the HITECH ARRA act of 2009 from the security viewpoint.

To help people who take up this training, there are three types of training methods available so that the interested ones can complete it at their convenience and availability. One is the instructor-led classroom training to help those who prefer training with a group of people with the help of an instructor (who can make themselves available for a couple of days), instructor-led online training for those who cannot attend the classroom sessions but prefer to learn under the instructor’s guidelines(under the guidelines of an instructor) (with the help of online tools and voice process) and online anytime training for those who want to complete the course any time as per their convenience (using PowerPoint presentations).

Once the training is completed, there is a mandatory test that has to be completed to get your certificate.

CHSE Credential Exam Requirements

In this 85 minutes test, you need to pass the 54 questions test (3 questions per chapter, 5 minutes maximum per chapter to answer the questions) with 70% to receive the HIPAA Certification of Certified HIPAA Security Expert (CHSE). This test is for 1 hour 30 minutes. You get 5 minutes per chapter to answer three questions from each chapter. The passing grade is calculated based on the total % of all chapters and NOT individual chapter scores. You can fail individual chapters but still, pass the test on the overall score.
